Tonight Lord, we pray for those who place their confidence in the flesh, rather than in You. In a world ruled by self-confidence in the flesh, we are sometimes misguided into believing that we should place our confidence in ourselves, rather than in You. For You Lord make all things possible and good. So Lord, we ask that you help us make this “shift.”
For when we put our trust in God, our lives take a new focus and stability.
We ask this in Jesus’ name, Amen ♡
Tonight Lord, we pray for peace. Peace in our minds. Peace in our hearts. Peace in our lives. For overall peace in our beings. Peace in our country. Peace in our world. Lord, please give us Your peace. We ask this in Jesus’ name, Amen ♡
Tonight Lord, we pray for the mamas who never feel as if there is enough time in a day. They constantly are in fight or flight mode, whether they be caring for their children, their spouse, and/or their loved ones. Time for themselves becomes obsolete, and in their free moments, they find themselves left with guilt at the thought of using that time for themselves. Be with these mamas Lord. Show them that they too, need to practice self-care. That they too, need a break, a relaxing moment, a recharge. Be with these mamas Lord. Tonight, tomorrow, and everyday. In Jesus’ name, Amen ♡
Tonight Lord, we pray for all of mankind. May we all rest easy tonight. May our sleep be restorative and peaceful. We ask that You please prepare our mind, body, and soul, so that we shall all have a week filled with your blessings and goodness. We ask this in Jesus’ name, Amen ♡
Tonight Lord, we pray for all of the mamas who are always so hard on themselves. These mamas Lord, who are literally giving it there all and then some, never feel like they are and/or have done enough.
Laying their head to rest each night, their mind reels: “I should have done that differently, this should have been done like that…”
Lord, please show them that what they are doing is enough. They are enough. MORE than enough. Remind them Lord that they are not alone. That they stand united. Ultimately, they stand with You. Be with them Lord. Take these thoughts away from them. Remind them of the million and one things that they did right today. Shower this mama with love and confidence. Let her rest well tonight.
We ask this in Jesus’ name, Amen ♡
Tonight Lord, we pray for all who find themselves caught in the “rat race” and cyclical nature of life, who feel that there is never enough time in a day. Constantly and blindly rushing through tasks, they adopt a mindset, flooding their minds with false hope: “Once I finish this, I will feel better.” “…[M]ore calm, satisfied, happy, complete.”
Please Lord, be with those who are going through these motions, as they are so desperately trying (and ultimately need) to make time for themselves. Please show them Lord how precious each moment is. Slow them down. Open their eyes. Let them meditate on your word, your love. Because, even in the most daunting and monotonous tasks, there is light, beauty, love.
Again Lord, please slow us down. We ask this in Jesus’ name, Amen ♡

Otherwise, y’all can peek below to see the quick n’ easy version. I promise, that once you make these delish cookies once, you’ll never have to reference the recipe again. I swear, it’s like second nature. Like riding a dang bike.
FLOURLESS PEANUT BUTTER BANANA COOKIES
- 2 cups quick oats (I used Bob’s Red Mill Old Fashioned Organic Rolled oats);
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed (I used three organic, medium-sized);
- 1/2 cup of nut butter of your choice (I used all-natural, organic peanut butter); and lastly, the BEST part hands down,
- Sprinklin’ of dark chocolate chippies and a dash of pure, organic vanilla extract.
*Next time, I am totally going to add golden, ground milled Flax Seeds
- Preheat oven to 350°F;
- Add bananas to mixing bowl, mash;
- Add the remaining ingredients (I added the chips last) and mix well;
- Drop spoonfuls of batter onto a pre-greased cookie sheet; and lastly,
- Bake for 15-minutes until firm and slightly golden brown.
This recipe is honestly perfect for any and all who have a life. Literally a wholesome, nutritious breakfast, snack, or lunch (or all?) on-the-go, without the hassle or mess. You gotta try it y’all ♡ And if you do, let a sista know what ya think!
